Her appearance in Chanel’s couture show in Paris earlier this month was a strong indicator that Karl Lagerfeld isn’t going to let rising fashion star Lily-Rose Depp slip through his fingers and today the Kaiser has made it official!

Revealing the daughter of his longtime muse Vanessa Paradis and Johnny Depp as the face of the luxury brand’s latest eyewear campaign, the 16-year-old is now a bona fide Chanel ambassador.

Lagerfeld said of her appointment, “Lily-Rose is stunning, she’s a young girl from a new generation with all the qualities of a star.”


Slaying it like a pro.


We couldn’t agree more. Apart from being ridiculously beautiful, the teenager has already proven her style credentials by throwing an edgy Marie Antoinette themed ‘Sour Sixteen’ birthday bash and modelling for fashion magazine Oyster.

Styled as a ‘baby-doll in a world imbued with sweetness and femininity’, Lily-Rose kills it as the star of Chanel’s Pearl eyewear collection. And while we certainly weren’t this cool and poised at 16, does it really come as a surprise? No.
