The Gone Girl trailer has landed and it is super creepy…

We can’t wait until the movie adaptation of Gillian Flynn’s thriller Gone Girl hits cinemas later this year, so we are more than excited to share the official trailer for the David Fincher production with you.

Starring Ben Affleck as murder suspect Nick Dunne, the divine Rosamunde Pike as his wife Amy and Blurred Lines hottie Emily Ratajkowski in the role of Nick’s mistress, the crime flick looks set to be a rather dark and creepy affair.

Accompanied by the lovelorn notes of romantic ballad She, sung by Richard Butler from The Psychedelic Furs, the trailer sees Nick deal with the sudden disappearance of his seemingly perfect spouse.  But as the clip gathers pace, flashbacks show their relationship disintegrate and Affleck’s character finds his position change from bereaved husband to main suspect.

Sticking closely to the plot of Flynn’s best seller, the Gone Girl trailer promises many twists and turns along the way and ends with a haunting shot of Amy Dunne sinking into the murky waters of the Mississippi river.

But watch for yourself!

Gone Girl will be released in the US on October 3rd.
