She had stiff competition from some of the world’s most stunning women, but the late Audrey Hepburn remains in a league of her own as she beat the likes of Kate Moss and Scarlett Johansson to the title of Ultimate Beauty Icon of All Time.
The Hollywood legend landed the top spot in a survey by cosmetics and skincare brand Artistry by Amsway, ahead of Beyoncé Knowles, Marilyn Monroe, Grace Kelly and Brigitte Bardot.
And it appears that the 2,000 British women polled prefer old school glamour to modern day aesthetics, with only three current stars – Knowles, Moss and Johansson – appearing in the top ten.
