They got rumbled on Friday when rumours of a low-key City Hall wedding started to spread and today Olivia Palermo and Johannes Huebl confirmed they are indeed married.
After getting hitched in Bedford, New York, the stylish couple announced the happy news via the fashion blogger’s own website, OliviaPalermo.com, and generously shared two pictures of their big day.
They wrote, “We really wanted to keep this beautiful day very private and special to us and enjoyed the whole day with our family and two friends. Bedford is such an amazing and romantic countryside.”
Fans of OP have been waiting with baited breath to see the international style icon’s wedding dress and, of course, the 27-year-old beauty didn’t disappoint.
Describing the look in detail, it is reported on her website, “Olivia looked effortlessly stunning as she personified bridal bliss while wearing three elegant pieces all by wedding designer favorite,Carolina Herrera.
The fashion guru created the look for her special day by styling a simple cream cashmere sweater with scattered ostrich feathers and chic white shorts with a full tulle skirt overlay that cinched at the waist in layers of satin and silk and featured a high slit in the front with floral details along the hem.”
As she had previously hinted in a bridal magazine, the former The City star added a flash of colour in the shape of navy blue Manolo Blahnik pumps.
In keeping with her day to day style, Olivia also kept her make-up and hair understated and elegant.
She told OliviaPalermo.com, “I wanted the makeup to be light and fresh and more focused about the lashes while keeping the eyes clean. My hair was in an uncontrived Pony Tail, one of my favorite personal looks.”
She accessorised the sophisticated ensemble with stud earrings by Alexandra Mor and a bracelet bought on a trip to Jodhpur, India.
German model beau Johannes looked dashing in a “bespoke tailored white Marc Anthony Hamburg suit with a Marc Anthony Hamburg piquet shirt, a navy Charvet tie and navy Etro pocket square.”
