Asia’s Best Female Chef 2024 kicks off “Best Of The Best Culinary Series” at Mondrian and Hyde Ibiza

As Ibiza’s international culinary scene continues to thrive, this summer sees an exciting new series of delectable dinner events take over the new Mondrian and Hyde hotels on the East Coast of the island.

In collaboration with the renowned “50 Best” list, which is produced by UK media company William Reed, some of the world’s top chefs will curate unique Latin American and Asian set menus at Mexican restaurant Cayo, and Japanese eatery Niko, both located within the hotels joint grounds in Cala Llonga.

Kicking off the “Best Of The Best Culinary Series” will be Asia’s Best Female Chef 2024, Pam Pichaya Soontornyanakij, on Friday, June 21st, at the newly opened Niko Cala Llonga.

The internationally renowned, multi-award-winning kitchen star – named Asia’s Best Female Chef 2024 and the youngest ever female chef to receive both a Michelin Star and “Opening of the Year” award from the Michelin Guide at the same time – Chef Pam is also the youngest Thai chef to receive Asia’s Best Female Chef from the 50 Best organisation.

Her restaurant, Potong, is famed for its innovative 20-course Thai-Chinese tasting menu, which earned it the 17th spot on the Asia’s 50 Best Restaurants 2024 ranking, and the 57th spot on The World’s 50 Best Restaurants 2024 list.
