Now in its 21st year, the event is dedicated to highlight the world’s hottest new destinations and uncover hidden gems, paired with invaluable advice from international experts. Over the course of the weekend, chat to travel gurus from exhibitors including Wanderlust magazine, Visit Jordan, Balkan Secrets, Intrepid Travel, Wild Rhino Adventures, Yacht Discovery, Frozen Ground and Peru Safari amongst many others. A whole section of the exhibition has been dedicated to discovering Africa, covering everything from luxury tented camps, wilderness lodges, weddings and honeymoons, spas and retreats and sports like climbing, cycling and diving.
There are over 100 free talks by some of the world’s most fearless and experienced adventurers, with topics ranging from What’s it Really Like Sailing to the End of the Earth? to Close Encounters with Ocean Giants and The Girl’s Guide to Adventure. The two-hour seminars cover everything from how to pitch a travel piece to magazine editors, photograph people and locations so your pictures stand out and filmmaking on your iPhone. There are limited spaces only and each workshop costs £45 on the door, or £40 when booked in advance.
