Dominique Ansel brings the Cronut to London


The Cronut is coming to London.

Cake fiends, listen up! Something very big is about to go down in London Town.

Dominique Ansel, chef extraordinaire and the man behind the famous Cronut® hybrid of a croissant and donut filled with creamy goodness, is looking to open an outlet in the UK capital.

Announcing the news on Instagram, the founder of New York’s number one cult bakery wrote, “We’ve been silently doing our research for six months now, and I can’t wait to explore more of the city and gather new ideas and inspirations.”

While there are no details on location or timings yet – though Dominique said it would be this year – foodies can look forward to welcoming classic creations such as Cinnamon Spun Rolls, Cookie Shots, several S’More variations and, of course, the iconic – and trademarked – Cronut®.

We’ll be drooling all the way until opening day…
