As a model, actress and international fashion muse, it’s fair to say that Poppy Delevingne has all the credentials to launch a swimwear line.

And as you can see from the stunning campaign images, her debut collection – a collaboration with US brand Solid & Striped – is a total success. Inspired by Alabama Worley, Patricia Arquette’s wild child character in cult movie True Romance, Cara’s older sister describes her creations as “all palm trees, martini glasses, leopard print and flamingos.”

She told British newspaper The Telegraph, “I wanted to use colours and silhouettes that would flatter any lady, but also ones that screamed holiday.”

Poppy also shared some of her favourite holiday memories and travel tips with the publication. You can read the full interview here.

We want your life, Poppy!

What’s the best holiday you’ve ever been on?

It would have to be Mustique with my best friends. You play on secluded beaches all day, and by night feast on Lemon Drops at the infamous Basil’s Bar…

What are your beach bag essentials?

LUMA cosmetics highlighter; Sisley SPF 30; organic coconut oil; Lancaster SPF30; one of my Solid & Striped bikinis, a good book and my husband if I can squeeze him in.

Are you a sunbather who reads or listens to music?

I’m a book worm, so I can fall into a book and basically not talk to anyone all holiday. But there’s nothing better than the Rolling Stones to get you in the mood.

What is the holiday destination that you can’t recommend enough?

India. You have to see it to believe it.

Poppy Delevingne x Solid & Striped will be available on Net-a-Porter and in Harvey Nichols from December 4th
