The Herb Garden collection launches in March 2016.

Based in a historic Georgian townhouse in London’s Marylebone area, the Jo Malone headquarters have seen many a transformation throughout the year. Because for every new launch, the luxury fragrance brand creates a fantastical set themed around the new aromas.

To celebrate their upcoming spring collection The Herb Garden, those who attended the launch were transported to a summery oasis complete with fragrant foliage, a gravel path and rows upon rows of potted plants.

A tapestry of fragrant foliage was created for the launch at Jo Malone HQ.

Another popular Jo Malone launch tradition was honoured in the shape of male models – dressed as gardeners for the occasion – serving up coriander lemonade. The lunch menu also paid tribute to the Herb Garden collection, offering guests the chance to enjoy a warming carrot and coriander soup and langoustine salad adorned with edible nasturtium petals.

Withouth further ado, then, these are the five new Jo Malone fragrances to obsess about…

Bottoms up!

Sorrel & Lemon Thyme

A zesty, uplifting scent that combines a bouquet of lemon, bigarade and petitgrain with a heart of sorrel, lemon thyme and rosemary. The base adds an earthy finish with hints of verdant geranium leaves and moss.

Wild Strawberry & Parsley

An unusual combination that combines the delicate sweet notes of wild strawberry and ripe blackcurrant with peppery flat-leaf parsley and tangy tomato leaves. Leafy violet rounds off this succulent fragrance.

The new range comes in flacons imprinted with leaf detailing.

Nasturtium & Clover

This seemed to be a favourite amongst press and bloggers at the launch and it sure tops our list! Complimented by peppery rocket and sparkling lemon, cool clover notes remind of childhood days spent hunting for the four-leaved lucky charms. Nasturtium takes centre stage in the heart of the scent, entwined with jasmine petals. Warm vetiver grounds this masterful mix to delicious effect.

Carrot Blossom & Fennel

A whimsical, elegant scent that combines notes of fresh carrot with rose and orange flower water and the refinement of iris.

Lavender & Coriander

Another surprising mix that is set to shake up the reputation of lavender as a ‘granny scent’, English and French varieties of the plant are blended with striking coriander before earthy sage and sensual tonka bean add depth and warmth to this addictive combination.

Tribe’s editor Liv says, “I’m a huge Jo Malone fan so I never doubted this new range would be lovely. What surprised me was that instead of going for more obviously perfume-friendly garden aromas such as mint, they chose herbs that can really divide opinions and turned them into utterly addictive new scents. I’ll be stocking up on Nasturtium & Clover as well as Lavender & Coriander.”

Launching in March 2016, the limited edition The Herb Garden collection is priced at £44 per 30ml cologne. For stockist information visit www.jomalone.co.uk.
