From scenic rooftops to glamorous poolsides, 2025 has been the summer that high fashion’s finest descended onto Ibiza. Draping their iconic prints over some of the island’s coolest hotspots, the takeover that sparked a thousand Instagram posts is the Dolce & Gabbana x CLAP HOUSE Ibiza pop-up.
We didn’t need asking twice to immerse ourselves in all its leopard-spotted glory to spend a sunny Sunday lazing by the lagoon-like pool, cocktail in hand and feasting on some delectable sushi, refreshing summer salads and tasty pizza.
Opening its doors at the start of the 2025 season, CLAP HOUSE Ibiza is an expansive, multi-level oasis offering two luxurious experiences across its 16,000 square metre grounds: The daytime CLAP Pool Club from 12:00 until 19:00, as well as lunch and dinner at the onsite CLAP Restaurant. Holistic ‘wellness social club’ SEVEN is also located within the sprawling gardens.

Arriving in our ‘Sunday swimwear best’, on first impressions we loved this new Ibiza hotspot’s clean, simple lines, the shades of dazzling white harmoniously juxtaposed with earthy hues from exposed dry rock walls and wooden decking, and the lush greenery.
A gleaming Dolce & Gabbana boutique right next to the entrance invites guests to jazz up their outfit with scene-stealing swimwear, sunglasses and handbags – or prepare for their next nocturnal adventure with statement dresses, eye-catching shirts and killer heels. Mentally calculating the balance of our credit card, we wondered just how much damage we could do after a day spent sipping Margaritas by the pool!
Making our way towards our daybeds, walking through the grounds we admired the views on the iconic silhouette of Dalt Vila on the horizon, framed by gently swaying pine trees and rolling fields. In the expansive and chic enclave of CLAP HOUSE Ibiza, the hustle and bustle of high season truly felt a million miles away.
A first glimpse of our glamorous hideaway for the day unfolded in front of us: A vast, shimmering 50-metre pool said to be amongst the biggest on the island and surrounded by palm trees, plush sun loungers and cabanas with flowing curtains – all in Dolce & Gabbana’s signature leopard print. Floating on the dazzling blue waters, the guests who had arrived before us had claimed first dibs on the instantly covetable Dolce & Gabbana inflatables – the ultimate prop for an impromptu photo shoot, of course.

Settling onto our sunbeds – decked out in comfortable leopard-print mattresses, covers and cushions – we took in the stylish surroundings, and the incredible outfits of our fellow poolside dwellers. Naturally, the Dolce & Gabbana pop-up at CLAP HOUSE attracts a fashion-conscious crowd, and very much offers a stage for your most OTT Ibiza poolside outfits.
From dazzling diamante sunglasses in the shape of the famous D&G lettering to denim cowboy hats and the Italian fashion house’s emblematic floral prints, this is a place to see and be seen. But with the majority of guests appearing to be either romantic couples or groups of fashion girlies, proceedings were kept cool and classy at all times.
After a first refreshing dip in the shallow waters and a gentle drift in the fabulous leopard-print inflatables, it was time to toast the occasion with a cocktail.
Our Poolside Experience [ the single sunbed package, 120 € per person] included three signature cocktails each, and we were delighted when one of the friendly hosts let us try the Frozé Olé flavour of the day by bringing out an almost full glass of an icy Paloma ‘slushy’. Perhaps somewhat too easily impressed, Dave won further brownie points when he suggested he’d wait before putting through the ‘official’ order of our delicious mezcal-fuelled Frozé Olé to give us time to finish the generous sample first!

Excited to try some of the food on offer, too, we let our second host, Mara, recommend a selection of treats. The KYURI SALAD made from baby cucumber, sesame seeds, gari shoyu dressing was light and zesty, while the Crispy Rice Salmon sushi roll – one of our personal favourites – wowed with both texture and flavours. Another signature roll, the SPICY TUNA MAKI, was a feast for both eyes and taste buds. Enjoying this delightful tasting menu from the comfort of our soft beds just steps away from the water, we truly couldn’t have been happier.
After a little break, it was time for our second course – the juicy and sweet WATERMELON & FETA salad dressed with almond, thai basil, pomegranate dressing was another standout favourite perfect for a hot summer’s day, while the Margherita pizza wowed with yellow and red cherry tomatoes bursting with flavour. Washed down with a classic Margarita, we felt well and truly in a blissful bubble.

Of course, we couldn’t resist another dip in the spacious pool and had to have our picture taken in this Dolce & Gabbana fever dream. Floating in the water with a soundtrack of Deep House and Afro House drifting into our ears, the afternoon flew by too fast. Our heavenly Ibiza pool day drew to a close with a tropical fruit platter, and a potent Espresso Martini to give us the energy to actually get up and leave.
Reluctantly, we said goodbye to our fabulous retreat and slowly traipsed back towards reality. And if your idea of heaven – like ours – is to be horizontal on a plush sunbed, right by the water, with delicious food and drinks being brought to your table, then we highly recommend to immerse yourself in the high fashion hideaway that is Dolce & Gabbana x CLAP HOUSE Ibiza.
The CLAP HOUSE Ibiza Pool Club experiences are available until Thursday, October 13th 2025. To book visit www.claprestaurant.com/ibiza.
