When Tribe’s editor Liv challenged herself to quit sugar for four weeks, she knew it was going to be tough.
Thankfully, with nutritionist Madeleine Shaw’s healthy cookbook Get The Glow and a little help from her friends, it didn’t end in a total disaster.
Madeleine, who discovered a more wholesome, cleaner way of living when she spent time in Australia, wants to teach people how to nourish their bodies by ditching the fad diets and overhauling their health through food.
Tried and tested by Liv, we can assure you that the recipe below is super easy to follow and will banish any sweet cravings you might have. You wouldn’t even know there is no refined sugar or chocolate involved!
Madeleine herself says, “This is my favourite guilt-free treat. The hazelnuts give this a rich, indulgent feel, which, combined with the energy-boosting raw cacao powder, will keep you coming back for more after just one bit.”

3. Put the mixture in the freezer for 30 minutes, then refrigerate until you want to serve it.
