You can now play this face straight into people’s news feeds…

Just when we thought we were pretty much done with Facebook, Mark Zuckerberg surprises us with a shiny new toy.

The original social network has just rolled out an update that allows GIFs to play in your newsfeed, which should make updating your status a whole lot more exciting, even if it’s just for a little while.

So whether it’s a hilarious cat loop or Matty Healy’s irresistible bitch face that expresses your feelings the most accurately, here’s how to post a GIF on Facebook.

1. Choose a GIF and copy the URL.

2. Paste the link into the status box and wait for the preview to load.

3. Delete the text link and insert your own clever caption.

4. Post!

Thanks, Zucks!
