As Fashion Month – the AW16 edition – rolls on, there has been one major street style trend that has caught our eye: the prize jacket.
What differentiates it from its cousin the statement jacket, is the level of personalisation. Patches, embellishments and hand-painted motifs make these beauties look anything but ‘off the rack’, with many of them having a distinctive vintage vibe to them.
If you can have your own name embroidered on the back, even better. But for those who haven’t been blessed with a talent for crafts, the budget to go bespoke or access a decent second-hand store, there is plenty of cool outerwear to be found on the high street, too.
